Clydesdale Community Concert Band is a thriving musical ensemble dedicated to bringing musicians of all levels together.

The band was formed in January of 2019, the brainchild of our musical director John Bryce and his fiancée at the time, now his wife, Pamela. Based in Carluke, Scotland, it has it’s roots firmly in the Clydesdale area, although members do come from, and are very welcome to join from, outwith the Clydesdale area. The membership currently stands at over 60 members between both bands, with members ranging from 9 to over 80 years of age and coming from all walks of life. Some of our players are in the early stages of their musical journeys, whilst some are accomplished musicians with many years experience. In addition we have a number of players who have returned to playing after long breaks, some over 30 years!
Our Musical Offerings:
We provide a comprehensive musical experience with weekly rehearsals that focus on ensemble playing and musical development. Our concert performances give you the opportunity to share your talents and experience the satisfaction of performing before a live audience.
What Do I Need?
We have qualified professional tutors and conductors and all that’s required from each member is to bring a stand, their instrument, play and go home with a smile!
